We met up before sunrise to catch rays of golden light streaming in through the windows, and though the bold light was short lived, it was absolutely perfect to capture shadow outlines of a mama’s first baby bump. As the contrasty morning rays disappeared I watched the light on the walls transform into a mellow soft glow that highlighted all the wonderful textures in Varsha & Abhishek’s home - their home was so inviting with a warm neutrals palette, collection of thriving houseplants, memento from India, stunning bright yellow peacock accent wall, and of course the attention of a friendly Bernedoodle named Juno. Their home matched their personalities so well because Varhsa & Abhishek exuded such natural warmth and kindness during my visit. Special shoutout to Abhishek for a really great latte complete with a foam art heart! I loved photographing their their timeless maternity style through minimal studio inspired photos, love how they honored their culture with wearing a vibrant orange saree, and I loved witnessing how effortless their affection was with each other.
