A Walk Through the SF Botanical Gardens

Javier and I go waaaaay back, like before the internet and cell phones way back. Ever since the days of Lorin Eden Elementary some 30 years ago we’ve shared a love for all things artistic. As a little girl I was pretty good at drawing (a skill I since have long lost) and as a little boy he was pretty great at it too (I remember as a little boy he loved drawing comic characters especially). Pretty much forever, we’ve both had creative leanings.

Well fast forward to today and we’re both into photography. I was ecstatic that he wanted to involve his late Grandpa’s camera in the shoot. The vintage Nikon camera was a thing of beauty (and I’m not just saying that because I shoot Nikon too) but what was even more beautiful was the family that he has created. Javier and his gorgeous partner Adina were so connected and natural with each other, it was super easy to see their love. And together they created one of the CUTEST babies ever! I loved her deep brown eyes and little smile so much!
