It’s recognizing that all the wonderful things in our life are temporary and that we shouldn’t take them for granted. It’s about spending quality time with our people and telling them how much they mean to us while we still can. Stopping to smell the roses is our reminder to enjoy the beauty of the world around us and live a life of gratitude for all we have.

I’m so glad that the Liu family suggested the dreamy rose filled Heather Farms Gardens located in Walnut Creek for their family photoshoot. I loved photographing them as they took time from their lives to stop and smell the roses, be fully present with their babies, and appreciate the love and joy in their life.
