Oct 2021, they said their forever I do’s in front of their closest friends and family at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens Redwood Grove, an intimate amphitheater surrounded by a majestic canopy of redwoods. There were smiles, tears of joy, and so much love that day.

Feb 2023, I got to photograph them visiting the location for the first time since their wedding. This time to celebrate an amazing milestone… there’s a Dominican Filipino baby on the way!

To one of my oldest and dearest friends Trixie, I can’t believe we’re going on 30+ years of knowing each other. From our beginnings at Lorin Eden Elementary filled with playdates coordinated on a landline, to surviving our busted teeth era to the soundtrack of TLC, to sharing our mis-adventures in adulting now. I’m so happy to part of your life today. And I can’t wait for you and Pedro to join me in the always chaotic but endlessly beautiful world of parenthood. I love you guys! =)
