Locquiao Family at Sunrise

Thousands of dahlias and sunflowers in bloom were a breathtaking backdrop for the lovely Locquiao family. We had to wake up before dawn, walk a quarter mile in mud, and even avoid a moving tractor, but it was completely worth it to experience these fields after sunrise. 100 percent credit goes to mama Michelle for scouting and finding the location!

This is the third time I’ve photographed the Locquiao family and it’s been so great to see the babies grow up into such sweet kids. On top of being a beautiful family with great personalities, they brought their insanely gorgeous champagne colored 51 Chevy pickup truck along for a couple photos at the end. This is the first time I’ve ever photographed a family with a car, and I’m certain that this is the coolest car I’ll ever photograph in my lifetime!
